ROARING 40s Runs the biggest AFL9s Competition in Australia. Since 2013 we have provided  Melbourne with the biggest and best Competition AFL9s has to offer, with over 500 players participating in our competitions each week. 
NOW, we are Very Keen to invite all Victorian teams  to play in our inaugural,

AFL9s Carnival

When ?

We plan to run the event on ​SAT 13th and SUN 14th of March (the weekend after Labour day LWE) it's around one month before most competitions start....and just long enough for you and us to get organised.

WHO ?

We are opening the AFL9s Carnival up to all Victorian teams and supporters who love and miss the game of Football,
​Categories include;
  • Men and Women's Open Age teams
  • Men's Over 40s teams
  • Mixed teams
  • Family 9s Teams

Where ?

At this stage we expect to run the event at Basil Reserve, East Malvern in Melbourne's Leafy green, South East, the home of R40s AFL9s.

 WHY ?

Because as Victorians, we deserve it!! We have all missed our footy and this is a great way to welcome it back in 2021. PLUS..... your team can Win cash prize money for your club (final figure dependant on numbers) and Last but not least the Glory of winning the 1st R40s AFL9s Carnival.
